Today, we’re finally reaching Egypt! And we are staying in one of the most amazing hotel in Hurghada.
Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay is a five stars hotel in the heart of Egypt, where gods and goddesses meet.
It might be right where Cleopatra fell in love with Caesar or where the first Egyptian architects were planning to build the pyramids.
Hotel in Hurghada – Unique Oriental Design
It’s fair to say that in Egypt, what prevails the most, is the unique oriental design and style.
With a bit of chance, this is what you find in hotels, restaurants and even beaches.
However, this hotel amazed our eyes right from its entrance.
With oriental smells that feel almost mind-blowing, to the traditional carpets and architecture, Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay is a delight to anyone.
Flourishing on the seaside, the hotel presents itself as a monument.
The hotel rooms are big, no matter which one you choose. The beds are enormous and very comfortable.
We can notice the Egyptian style right from the beginning. There are round mirrors, round walls that surround the terrace, and wood-like furniture.
One can’t fail to notice the swimming pool and the outdoor areas.
At night, you can imagine yourself in the middle of the dessert, camping with the bedouins and smoking shisha.
“All of the staff were exceptional; very hospitable, warm, attentive and helpful. The garden design is outstanding too, and so are the restaurants and the hotel beach. Highly recommended!”
It is important to note the fact that Egyptian design has been highly influential in almost all European styles.
The hotel’s interiors are rich and colorful. Luxury statues of gods are filling the reception. The walls are painted in neutral colors, but what attracts visitors’ attention are the paintings and the colorful additions.
Moreover, strict geometry lines are dominating the design. With this in mind, we cannot ignore the unique style of this hotel in Hurghada.
In conclusion, Egypt is home to one of the most amazing hotels and apartments. Nevertheless, we will aim to look further into more design ideas from here.
Even so, we invite you to check out our other hotel recommendations here.
